Hello all,
A recap of the " Reunion JJR-MC at Anciens Eleves des Ecoles Francaises " on July 12th 2009 in Saigon.
The number of attendants was at 192, much more than I expected. The night was full of fun and laugh.
Friends came from all promos JJR, MC, Yersin, Taberd, Pascal, Couvent des Oiseaux, etc ...
It was indeed a Big " Retrouvailles " since a lot of friends has found each others and exchanged coordinates.
I thank each of you for coming and a special thank to Phuong Dung, PhanHuyQuang, Th anh Nhung, Chi Hoang-Anh, PhamNgocAn for helping me selling the tickets. Everyone seems to enjoy the Buffet, the Free Lottery, the Music performed by the 2 bands with various singers and specially the atmosphere of the Gala.
I was asked by so many of you to organize this Reunion every year in July, so we all can meet up and have fun in VietNam.
But one thing for sure for the next Reunion, it will be one equal ticket price for VietKieu or Vietnam (around 18 or 19 USD). This will eliminate all the confusion at the door and it will help me to have a better control. We were lucky to make a few hundred USD profit, since we had so many unexpected expenses at the last minutes. That extra money was used to treat our VK and VN friends the day(s) after ...
Now, I invite all of you to view the Video (50 minutes), the Photos of the Gala and also a few snaps of our Mini Retrouvailles in Saigon, Dalat Yersin and Vung Tau.
Anytime we had a chance, we got together for lunch, for dinner, for night music entertainment or even just for a cup of coffee.
Starting tomorrow, I will have to concentrate with the OC in VA-MD on the JJR-MC68 Reunion in Maryland this September 4th, 5th (my birthday also) and 6th of 2009. More news about to come about this.
